Every day we see weary office workers enter our studios after work, only to leave an hour later after their class or lesson with a smile on their face and a song in their hearts. The transformation is powerful and effective.
Research shows that singing is a great way to keep in shape because it exercises the heart and lungs and produces ‘feel good’ endorphins in the brain. Singing improves posture, respiratory tubes and sinuses and also an increase in mental alertness through greater oxygenation of the blood. It even tones the muscles of your stomach and back, which helps to counteract the strain of sitting behind a desk. We like to think of it as a gentle full-body workout with additional benefits.
What Happens? One of our trained group leaders will arrive in good time to prepare for the session. They will be equipped with everything required for the session, all you need to provide is a space for the event. Structure, schedule and repertoire depend on the individuals in the group and all our experienced facilitators are trained to assess the group needs and respond accordingly. A typical 45 minute session may include:

5 min gentle physical warm-up

5 min vocal warm-up

35 min group song-work
While every organisation is different, a typical implementation is usually a weekly 45 minute session during the lunch-break.
